Explore the Olango island like a local and experience Asinan Ecotourism Park like a pro like I did.
How to get there?
From Angasil Seaport, ride a motorized boat that will take you to Olango Wharf. You can either ride a motorbike that will cost you 50 pesos or a tricycle which has the same price.
Note: You can also opt to Movin Pick Punta Engano Seaport for Olango Island. Terminal fee is 5 pesos and motorized boat fee is 12 pesos.

What to bring:
1. Water preferably 1 liter. Some other refreshments, though there are sari-sari stores and automatic tubig machines in the island, it is best to bring your own water for safety.
2. Hand towel or sarong especially when you come in between 9 AM to 3 PM. The scorching sun will surely leave you tan.
3. Don’t forget your snacks and lunch to save both time and money. Convenience during a holiday relaxes your stressful mundane work.
4. Sunblock, mosquito repellent(if you are planning to stay overnight), sun shades and maybe some arm protector or bandana or whatever fits for you. There are tents available for rent for 100 pesos only.
5. You can arrange side trips too. Visit San Vicente Boardwalk, the infamous Bird Sanctuary, Caw-oy floating restaurant. As a tip, the best way to explore Olango Island is through biking and relinquish the sweet islander life.
